Having worked in specialist tax sales and marketing roles for many years, as well as with specialist insurance and product specific services, Mike has a broad expansive experience on what the SME business market uses, or should use more frequently, to enhance their margins, help facilitate alternative income resources as well as ensuring business and personal financial protection is in place.

Mike's most recent activity has been in and around tax relief, legislated and HMRC approved relief, specifically capital allowances, land remediation, R&D and patent box. Whilst Mike often focuses on CAs, which are widely underutilised by businesses of all sizes, awareness of the whole range of service opportunities is always maintained.

With extensive tax and life insurance backgrounds Mike is also able to identify risks that many SME's encounter, and therefore spot opportunities for relevant providers to provide tailored solutions.

 Having had a substantial accountancy practice based portfolio in the past, many of our contacts and partners are accountants, but the ever expanding contact and associate referral partner network covers many variations, e.g. tax specialists, commercial lawyers, insurance specialists and grant specialists to name a few.
